Do you have recyclable beverage containers taking space at your home doing nothing? Do you know anybody else who does? You could donate these containers to Barka Canada, clear your space, and be good to the environment too!

Just bring the containers to one of the many Return-It Express Depots and return them using our account. Eligible beverage containers include aluminum cans, plastic bottles, glass bottles, drink boxes, drink pouches, plastic cups with foil lids, bag-in-a-box containers, coated “gable top” drink cartons, and more.

Here is how to do the donation:

1. Collect beverage containers into a transparent plastic bag. The bag may be coloured, but it must be transparent.
2. Bring the bag to your nearest Return-It Express Depot.
3. At the depot’s kiosk, print a label using the phone number of Barka Canada’s account: 778-956-9906.
4. Place the label on the plastic bag and hand the bag to the staff (or place it at a location designated for returning bottles).

That’s it! 100% of the funds from returning the containers will go directly to Barka Canada to our services and programs and to our new projects.
