The Mayor Who Ended Homelessness

Ewa Sadowska and Maria Placewicz participated in the BC Poverty Reduction Coalition workshop in Vancouver. The Mayor of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Ted Clugston, presented his five-year strategy for ending homelessness. His strategy has so far been successful that the city is on target to reach its goal by next year. Ted Clugston said „Our goal is to be the first municipality in Canada to end homelessness.”
